This will be the FFB tee that’ll be battling it out in the scheduled T-shirt Battle against another fellow Dallas T-shirt label! I REALLY WANNA WIN! Unkommon Kolor first started in 2008, and I started Fur Face Boy in 2009. Being two of the first T-shirt lines in Dallas at the time, we’ve both supported, encouraged and respected each others growth and talent. Over the years, I’ve also gotten to know and become good friends with this group (Jeremy, Bryan, Samantha, Eric, Marcus and Morgan) of PURELY GENUINE individuals and am reminded everyday why I admire them so much via their SUPER creativity, HYPER wit, MEGA talent and INSANE work-ethic!
Working on this collaboration project with the UNKO gang was an absolute no-brainer! In fact, early on when we were both getting our feet off the ground with this whole ‘Our own T-shirt line’ thing, we’ve ALWAYS wanted to do a collaboration shirt, but knew it’d be best if we waited to let our brands grow, develop and build more of a following. A few years have passed and it looks like now is the time! THIS Saturday, Dallas’ Finest will come together at last!

I can’t stress enough just how awesome it has been to see Dirk Nowitzki FINALLY win a title not just for the Mavs, but for ALL of Dallas! I admit, when the Mavs got Dirk back in ’98 I was so pissed (I wanted Paul Pierce), but to see him grow and develop from a 20 year old European rookie into one of the best players ever to play in the NBA makes me appreciate this championship so much more!
