December 2010
Last Sunday, I figured that since I was renting out the old Centre space for my Holiday Pop-Up Shop, why not after I close up shop, have an assload of pizzas, gather an assortment of drinks, invite as many people as possible on extremely short notice and throw a year end ‘APPRECIATION PARTY’ for the all of YOU!

Since I planned this party pretty much out of the blue, I needed a few lucky breaks to swing my way……and a few did! On Saturday, as I was runniing the Holiday Pop-Up Shop, FFB fan ROB MARTINEZ stopped in to pick up some shirts. After his purchase I told him that the party was gonna happen the next night. He then said…“Do you need a DJ?” and I said…“Yea!” Then he said…“I’d love to do it. And since I love your brand and spinning so much…no charge.” —I was ESTACTIC!

Rob asked his friend, Joe aka DJ STORM to help out too. A tag-team dose of these two badass DJ’s blew the roof off! After the party, so many people kept telling me how AMAZING both Rob and Joe were! And that I totally agree with them! Let Rob and Joy know how amazing they were for yourself by Facebook messaging Rob HERE and Joe HERE. I GUARENTEE that you’ll be seeing more of these guys at future FFB events.

My long-time friend, Katie was so great at serving drinks at the FFB Series 4 release, that I wanted her to do it again for the Appreciaiton Party. THANKS KATIE!

With 30 pizzas ready to be devoured, the DJ’s bumping the jamz and Katie serving the drinks, it was up to the all of YOU to bring out all of the fun…

It was indeed a packed house and I had so much fun talking, laughing and drinking it up with my fans / friends more in-depth. I know if I had some shirts out for sale, I would’ve been able to sell some (I made sure to box up and clear out all of my inventory before the party started), but when it comes to my brand, it’s not all about making money, but instead making friendships and building a community.
Within the last year, I’ve noticed that the FFB fanbase has vastly grown (nationally AND globally) and is an awesomely diverse mix of male and female, young and old, trendy and dorky, white and black, Hispanic and Asian, Polka-dot and striped, business and artsy, street and emo, punk and prep, hip-hop and rock, top 40 and indie, blonde and brunette and etc., etc. This is EXACTLY what I want to see, and I want to keep seeing this mix grow more and more as I keep continuing to push this brand. It’s clear that FFB is TRULY a brand for ALL!
It absolutely astonishes the shit out of me to see SO MANY people come / hang out (on short notice too) to talk about my shirts / my brand, to ask for my autograph and a picture with me, to go nutzo over some laser printed-dollar store framed print outs and for people to say I’m famous….I mean WTF?! It’s just me! HA MAI! I’m just a guy that makes T-shirts! THAT’S IT!
THANK YOU to the all of you! This day was for YOU and definitely not for me!
